One of my favourite climbs near Bern. It starts out steep, and then it gets even steeper. Don’t have a bike computer, but the second bend sure feels a lot steeper than 17%. I’m used to going up the short 17% stretches of the Gurten without much trouble, and this section feels much harder. Beautiful view of Naturpark Gantrisch from the top.... read more

The climb is a little harder than the variant that climbs from the west. This one also starts on a main road, then continues on a country road. The steep climb at the end is the same as the other variant.
