You reach this section via a somewhat rougher descent due to the poor tarmac. This leads along country lanes close to farms and exudes a certain feeling, reminiscent of the classic courses in Flanders, but somehow also very homely. Accordingly, the surface is not exactly in the best condition.
Man gelangt über eine durch den schlechten Asphalt etwas ruppigere Abfahrt auf diesen Abschnitt. Dieser führt über Feldwege dicht vorbei an landwirtschaftlichen Betrieben und strahlt schon ein gewisses Feeling aus, das so ein wenig an die Klassikerkurse in Flandern erinnert, aber irgendwie auch sehr heimisch wirkt. Der Belag ist entsprechend nicht gerade in bester Verfassung. Der Anstieg wirkt auch optisch flacher und leichter als er letztendlich zu fahren ist. Schon ein bisschen speziell, kann man aber definitiv auch mögen.
