A sucky clinker road which is a bit more than false flat,as there are little bits of 5％ in between. Combined with a bouncing road surface makes it a little more 'tough'. The scenery before you start the climb is beautiful and grand, with an oafish building as an eye-catcher.
Een zuigende klinkerweg wat iets meer is dan vals plat,omdat er kleine stukjes van 5％ tussen zitten. In combinatie met een stuiterend wegdek maakt het nog iets 'zwaarder'. De omgeving voordat je aan de beklimming begint is mooi en weids,met een oerlelijk gebouw als blikvanger.
You start, of course, at "De Kathedraal", old transmitter building of Radio Kootwijk. Over cobblestones, it rises slightly to a junction where, on nice days, there is sometimes a very good ice cream van. Locals call this Hoog Buurloo.
Je begint natuurlijk bij "De Kathedraal", oud zendgebouw van Radio Kootwijk. Over klinkers gaat het licht omhoog tot een kruising waar op mooie dagen soms een heel goede ijskar staat. Locals noemen dit Hoog Buurloo.
Basically just a stretch of false flat, like more around here. But when it comes to the scenery, this one is unique with this interesting and beautiful structure!
Eigenlijk gewoon een stuk vals plat, zoals wel meer hier in de omgeving. Maar als het om de omgeving gaat is deze wel uniek met dit interessante en mooie bouwwerk!
You don't have to do this one for the gradient as it goes up very relaxed on a good cobblestone road. Still, this climb is unique because of the peculiar architecture at the beginning and, in addition, the beautiful heathland surroundings. The second part is a bit more standard but the (then forested) environment remains beautiful.
Voor de helling hoef je deze niet te doen want het gaat heel relaxed over een goede klinkerweg omhoog. Toch is deze klim uniek vanwege de bevreemdende architectuur aan het begin en daarbij ook de fraaie heide-omgeving. Het tweede deel is wat meer standaard maar de (dan bosrijke) omgeving blijft mooi.
