I concur with 'dwelleke"'s review. The road to this climb is via a dangerous stone road. Best avoided. And anyway never do it at dusk or evening and/or during rush hour.
Ik sluit me aan bij de review van 'dwelleke". De weg naar deze beklimming is via een gevaarlijke steenweg. Best te vermijden. En sowieso nooit doen bij schemering of avond en/of tijdens de spitsuren.
Today I wanted to tick off some climbs from my region. This one was also among them. As nice as the profile may seem, I would recommend removing this climb from the website as the only way to do it (without going down and up it) is via a life-threatening stone road. If this slope is not mentioned on the map, you also have no chance (and responsibility) of letting people take this risk. Then the parallel climb from Strijtem is a much better option.
Vandaag wou ik wat klimmetjes uit mijn regio afvinken. Ook deze stond erbij. Hoe mooi het profiel ook mag lijken, ik zou aanbevelen om deze klim te verwijderen van de website aangezien de enige manier om deze te doen (zonder hem af en op te rijden) via een levensgevaarlijke steenweg is. Als deze helling niet vermeld wordt op de kaart, heb je ook niet de kans (en verantwoordelijkheid) dat je mensen dit risico laat nemen. Dan is het parallel klimmetje vanuit Strijtem een véél betere optie.
