A nasty steep wall. Right after the turn it suddenly appears. Fortunately it is so short that you can stomp through it. After the poles the road abruptly flattens out. Between houses and moderate asphalt, not a climb to look for, but if you have to leave the valley of Stolberg it is a nice option. I arrived here by chance because my route planner thought this was the best route.

Vervelend steil muurtje.

A very dirty and therefore tasty climb. The road starts with a relaxed hairpin turn (nice stairs for pedestrians by the way). At the second hairpin you see a wall of asphalt. You have to fight against it, and that is a struggle because it is very steep, but it is not very long. The road is quiet because there is a pole at the end so there is no through traffic. After the pole, there is a big transition to a lower percentage (a sign above indicates 9%) which is almost continuous until just below the summit. It only really levels off at the end. The tarmac is moderate to reasonable.
