It doesn't matter that there are no views as you will be concentrating on keeping your line. The narrow lane has sections with significant debris down the centre line (stones, grit, mud, twigs etc) leaving less than a metre strip either side. The adjacent Holdstone Hill from Heddon Valley is a far superior climb - I'll be sticking to that one in future.
