A very beautiful, hidden climb with a first-class road surface and virtually no traffic. The road ends in the small village of Treisberg. However, it is possible to descend to Finsternthal on the western side via a tarmac road. However, the road surface here is rather poor.
There are two water fountains in Treisberg. Both are labelled "no drinking water", but so far I have never had any problems when I filled my bottles here.
