Nice trail from Loenen (catering) to the pretty Loenermark. The little leaf stayed completely clean! Nice and quiet through the forest.
Leuke weg vanuit Loenen (horeca) naar de fraaie Loenermark. Het kleine blad bleef helemaal schoon! Lekker rustig door het bos.
Lovely road through the woods towards the Loenermark. I had the idea it was much quieter here than on other cycle paths on the Veluwezoom.
Heerlijke weg door het bos richting de Loenermark. Ik had het idee dat het hier veel rustiger was dan op andere fietspaden op de Veluwezoom.
Just a nice route to cycle. Don't expect any climbs, it's actually just a few kilometers of false flat. From Loenen you drive into the forest, where the road starts to go up. Don't go on the bike path, but stay on the asphalt road. There is hardly any traffic here and the bike path is narrow. When the road bulges and starts to descend, you drive into the Loenermark. Beautiful views over a sloping heath. This way up by the way is short and steeper.
Gewoon een mooie route om te fietsen. Verwacht geen klimwerk, het is eigenlijk gewoon een paar kilometer vals plat. Vanuit Loenen rij je het bos in, waar de weg omhoog begint te lopen. Ga niet het fietspad op, maar blijf op de asfaltweg. Hier is nauwelijks verkeer en het fietspad is smal. Als de weg uitbolt en naar beneden begint te lopen, rij je de Loenermark op. Prachtig uitzicht over een glooiende hei. Deze kant omhoog is trouwens kort en steiler.
The Trapjesberg, better known by the locals as the Droefakkers, can be climbed from two sides. This is the long and faint version, which is certainly worthwhile! The road is quiet, and for motorized traffic only accessible until the sheepfold. In general you see few cars. The road has good tarmac and climbs up the Loenermark. It doesn't get any steeper anywhere, it's beautiful everywhere. There is a gravel bike path, but it is not mandatory, so just going over the asphalt is no problem. The climb is followed by a steeper descent to the heathlands of the Loenermark. Here you come to a t-junction where you can either go left or right. Turning right and climbing towards the hamlet of Groenendaal is ultimately the only option for racing bikes as the route to the left turns into a dirt road after one kilometre.
De Trapjesberg, bij de locals eerder bekend als de Droefakkers, kan van twee kanten beklommen worden. Dit is de lange en flauwe variant, die zeker de moeite waard is! De weg is rustig, en voor gemotoriseerd verkeer enkel toegankelijk tot aan de schaapskooi. Over het algemeen kom je weinig autos tegen. De weg loopt over prima asfalt omhoog de Loenermark op en ligt geheel in het bos en is lekker om tegenop te stampen. Steil wordt het nergens, fraai is ie overal. Er loopt een gravelfietspad langs, maar die is niet verplicht, gewoon lekker over het asfalt is dus geen probleem. Na de klim volgt de steilere afdaling naar het heidegebied van de Loenermark. Hier kom je op een t-splitsing waar je zowel links als rechts kunt. Rechtsaf en klimmen richting het buurtschap Groenendaal is uiteindelijk voor racefietsen de enige optie, aangezien de route naar links na een kilometer overgaat in zandpad.
