Superb climb. What it lacks in length it makes up for in beauty and intensity. The road winds its way up the slopes with mature Oak woods on one side, and fir trees on the other. It passes an old church, which emphasises the gradient, which is actually easier at this point. Just after the top there are stunning views toward Ben Vrackie.
