A huge monster pass in the middle of the rugged Atlas Mountains. Here, too, modernisation has now struck. Parts of the pass are asphalted compared to 2012 (when I tried to conquer this mountain myself), others are still unpaved/gravel. But even these sections have been improved and widened. In any case, it has become much more rideable than the almost stretches of single track it was back in 2012. What remains for me besides the struggle against gravity, wind and fatigue, were 2 giant wild dogs who did not like passing cyclists disturbing their peace. Other than that, this pass, far away from civilisation is just pure enjoyment.
