This hill contains perhaps the steepest stretch of road in the two Brabants combined. Signs mention 30 % of slope... What's more, it comes after a very dry left turn that forces you to start it at a slow pace. Moral: anticipate the gear ratio...
Fortunately, this steep section is very short, but the reserves can be used up for the rest of the climb (rue Arthur Hardy).
