Solid thing, dead end actually because at the end you can still continue on gravel. What am I saying more than my other reviewers...? Well, the road surface is pretty fine by now, you know. Until the gravel starts, but then you've already completed this climb. So in 2026, the road surface was top notch. So for now, ignore the other reviews about the state of the road surface. And yes, it was steep, but if you train a bit you can manage this, you know. And stay away from the chips and mayon... read more

Steep climb the entire length. You pass a cemetery halfway up. At the top, you emerge into a forest. To stay on asphalt, you have to descend the same way back. Another option is to continue on gravel : doable with the race bike if you take it easy : no steep descent here, but a bit down into the forest and then turn left for a slightly uphill gravel road to "Mauvais tri".

Steep thing. Very bad road surface (and I'm not talking about the gravel but the asphalt) and at the top if you do not want to go back down via the same road, you have to go through the forest (when I cycled there it was a mud puddle and you could not really with the race bike through (a fairly short passage through the woods) and then you have to go between the fields on a gravel strip pur sang (fairly long, I estimate a good kilometer).

Steil ding.
