Connection road from Sippenaeken to Gemmenich. Nothing very special in itself but it's also not boring to ride on and it connects some stretches that are worthwhile such as Beusdael and the climb to the three countries point.

Crack nor taste. You can quietly pass this one by.

Climb on the road from Sippenaeken to Gemmenich. The climb starts t.h.v. the road to campsite Du Vieux Moulin and starts briskly but then flattens out a bit. From the road to camping Kontiki, you first descend a bit before starting the second part of the climb. The summit is a little past the Q8 petrol station.

From the river Geul the path winds up a few curves with a steep slope. After that it levels off considerably and you can enjoy the beautiful views (both ways). Later on the road rises again with varying gradients. The top is just after passing the gas station.

It is a sloping climb, after the descent of the Beusdael, through mostly green surroundings. Not too hard, but irregular, so you have to change gear a lot. But actually it's the transition part between the Kasteelstraat and the Trois Frontieres. Also here you have to watch out for passing cars.
