Although the climb is steep the gradient is consistent so it's easy to set a rhythm. A short climb but with a nice mountain feel about it where the road clings to the edge above a ravine near the top of the pass. Although the climb is steep the gradient is consistent so it's easy to set a rhythm. I continued over the pass for a 4km descent down to Conwy then onto Llandudno for 3 superb climbs on the Great Orme.
