Het tweede deel van de klim (na de boerderij) is uitfietsen maar wel met uitzicht. De rest van de klim begint bij een fraaie beek en loopt best lekker omhoog over een uitgestorven weggetje met wat bochten en prima asfalt. Eén van de mooiere klimmen in dit gebied en absoluut aan te raden boven Sur les Vignes.

A quiet climb that finds its way up between bushes and farms. Road surface is fine by Walloon standards. Not too difficult, but the irregular profile here can be annoying if you have a lot of altimeters in your legs from the Ardennes more south. The main advantage of this climb is that you actually have a quiet road to get to Herve instead of the busy N-roads there.
Een rustige klim die zijn weg omhoog vind tussen de bosjes en boerderijen. Wegdek is prima voor Waalse begrippen. Niet al te lastig, maar het onregelmatige profiel hier kan vervelend zijn als je een flink aantal hoogtemeters in de benen hebt van de Ardennen meer zuidelijk. Belangrijkste voordeel van deze klim is dat je zowaar een rustige weg hebt om in Herve te geraken in plaats van de alom drukke N-wegen daar.
