However for practical purposes the Sudbury Hill climb starts where shown here. The road is nice and wide, and quite nicely tree lined for most of it. However for practical purposes the Sudbury Hill climb starts where shown here. The road is nice and wide, and quite nicely tree lined for most of it. There are more interesting ways up to Harrow on the Hill but this one is tough enough to justify the effort of getting there. The traffic is not too bad, and since the road is wide there is never a problem. Personally I'd go up a more interesting climb and come down this one, but this one works as part of routes out of NW London, especially if you come via Horsenden Hill.
