This is allegedly the steepest climb within the M25 motorway (the péripherique which is generally regarded as the limit of London). It gets going right off the round-about on the A21 adjacent too the HQ of Anne Summers – the UK's largest chain of sex shops ...
The final 25m are really tough but beware – the toughest challenge is the level of traffic. It's a shame that this is a major route to the M25 and the gradient combined with the narrowness leads to to some erratic driving. I recommend you only attempt this in the very early morning before the traffic builds up.
