Ascent in stages. As soon as you leave Portree, it's a bit of a struggle. But once you've had that, it's mostly gentle paddling through beautiful scenery until you reach the summit.
This climb may not be very special, but is actually a combination with the climb that follows it, which makes it more than worthwhile, especially given the beautiful and quiet route on beautiful, but by now quite touristy Skye.
Beklimming in stapjes. Zodra je Portree verlaat is het een stukje aanpoten. Maar als je dat hebt gehad is het vooral rustig peddelen door een prachtig landschap tot je op de top komt.
Deze klim is misschien niet zo heel bijzonder, maar is eigenlijk een combinatie met de klim die er op volgt en dat maakt deze meer dan de moeite waard, zeker ook gezien de mooie en rustige route op het prachtige, maar ondertussen best wel toeristische Skye.
