A not too difficult but very beautiful climb and a nice way to leave Roetgen to the north (there are also signs to Aachen). You start in a nice little valley where the road goes up nicely. Further on it flattens out a bit and you get a nice view on the right. You cross the Vennbahn and the road keeps on climbing. Pleasant route, especially because of the surroundings.
Een niet al te moeilijk maar wel een heel mooi klimmetje en een leuke manier om Roetgen naar het noorden te verlaten (er staan ook fietsbordjes richting Aachen). Je begint in een mooi dalletje waarbij het weggetje lekker omhoog gaat. Verderop wordt het iets vlakker en krijg je rechts een mooi uitzicht. Je kruist de Vennbahn waarna het rustig verder klimt. Aangenaam traject, vooral vanwege de omgeving.
