I was surprised by the steepness... The peaks around 20％ are really heavy. Afterwards, I descended further back towards Schönberg (and then up the ravel) but be careful because it goes down steeply with some loose stones, which makes it quite dangerous. Maybe it is better to continue above Amelscheid to the border with Germany (Lindscheid) and then possibly ride back to Schönberg.
Toch wel verschoten van de steiltegraad... De pieken rond de 20％ wegen echt wel zwaar door. Ik ben erna verder afgedaald terug richting Schönberg (en dan de ravel op) maar let hierbij goed op want het gaat steil naar beneden met toch wel wat los liggende steentjes wat het best gevaarlijk maakt. Misschien is het beter om boven in Amelscheid door te rijden naar de grens met Duitsland (Lindscheid) om daar dan eventueel terug te rijden naar Schönberg.
