Deze helling is in feite een soort van tweetrapsraket(je).Aan de rotonde gaat het meteen een eerste keer gedurende een paar honderd meter tot op een spoorwegbrug omhoog om nadien een fikse duik te nemen.De aanvang van het tweede deel is dan ook meteen het steilste stukje van de klim maar dit duurt evenwel niet echt lang waarna de helling nog een tijdje gezapig blijft oplopen.Een nadeel is wel dat dit traject langs een vrij drukke verkeersas zonder losliggend fietspad ligt.Deze klim is jaarlijks in mei vaste prik in de profkoers Trofee Maarten Wynants te Helchteren.
