Very nice & underrated climb in a pedestrian street. 800m long with few or no rests & you will undoubtedly feel that.
Zeer toffe & ondergewaardeerde klim in een autoluwe straat. 800m lang met weinig of geen rustpunten & dat zal je ongetwijfeld voelen.
One of the steeper climbs in this part of the region. Less well known because not really prominent in the spring races, but in my opinion a much better alternative to the better known mountain ter stene.
Een van de steilere beklimmingen in dit deel van de regio. Minder bekend vanwege niet echt prominent aanwezig in de voorjaarswedstrijden, maar naar mijn mening een veel beter alternatief voor de bekendere berg ter stene.
At the crossroads of the Korte Berg / Beekkantstraat (where the RVV chapel is situated) the road descends to the foot of the Steenberg. If you get going, you can make up some meters and you'll soon reach the steepest part.
Quiet road where you only meet some hikers.
Aan het kruispunt van de Korte Berg / Beekkantstraat (waar de Kapel van de RVV gelegen is), daalt de weg naar de voet van de Steenberg. Als je je wat op gang trapt, kan je al wat meters goed maken en ben je snel aan het steilste stuk.
Rustige weg waar je enkel wat wandelaars tegenkomt.
