Very beautiful ascent along country lanes or village roads with little traffic. Beautiful surroundings, especially in the middle section of the climb.
Sehr schöner Anstieg über Feldwege oder nur wenig befahrene Dorfstraßen. SWchöne Umgebung vor allem im mittleren Teil des Anstiegs.
My favorite climb near the Rursee. It starts with a difficult part when you cycle out of the village. You then have occasionally beautiful views over the lake. After that it gets a bit easier, but not less beautiful. With beautiful views you cycle slowly more and more uphill. The last part of the trip you're done with the beautiful landscapes and you cycle through the village to the main road, to continue your tour.
Unlike many other roads in the area, this road is prohibited for cars and motorcycles. So you climb in complete peace through this beautiful landscape. Recommended!
Mijn favoriete beklimming in de buurt van de Rursee. Het begint met een lastig stuk wanneer je het dorp uit fietst. Je hebt dan af en toe mooi uitzicht over het meer. Daarna wordt het wat makkelijker, maar niet minder mooi. Met mooie vergezichten fiets je langzaam aan steeds verder omhoog. Het laatste stukje is het gedaan met de mooie landschappen en fiets je door het dorpje naar de grote weg, om je ronde te vervolgen.
In tegenstelling tot vele andere wegen in het gebied is deze weg verboden voor auto's en motoren. Je klimt dus heerlijk in complete rust door dit mooie landschap. Aanrader!
The first part in the village is a bit of a challenge, but after that it runs smoothly. The barrier seems to have been removed, but the road remains car free. Strava indicates a part of the road as unpaved (the beginning) but it is paved fine.
Pittig eerste stuk in het dorp, maar daarna loopt hij lekker. De slagboom lijkt verwijderd, maar de weg blijft autovrij. Strava geeft een deel van de weg als onverhard aan (het begin) maar het is prima geasfalteerd.
You start with a view on the harbour with the various sailboats, but you soon turn left where a steep slope between the houses catches your eye. Somewhere after the houses you pass a barrier and the road is car-free. Coming out of the forest you have another nice view before you see the next village approaching. Nice climb to add to a round in this area.
Je start met zicht op de haven met de verschillende zeilboten, maar je blikt trekt al gauw naar links waar een steile helling tussen de huizen opvalt. Ergens na de huizen passeer je een slagboom en is de weg autovrij. Als je uit het bos komt heb je nog een mooi uitzicht, voordat je het volgende dorp ziet naderen. Mooie klim om toe te voegen aan een ronde in deze streek.
