Quiet climb with little traffic, partly through open countryside and partly through forest, for the most part along a (mountain) stream. So plenty to see to enjoy the scenery along the way as well. The road surface is not equally good everywhere but is certainly not a problem uphill. The climb itself has varying percentages and is therefore quite tough at times without being overly demanding. The descent on the other side is doable, going over slightly wider roads
