Ein sehr versteckt gelegener Anstieg nahe einer Kleingartensiedlung, der verkehrlich selten benutzt wird, aber durchgehend, im Steilstück auch recht breit, asphaltiert ist. Hier kann man in Ruhe austesten was 15% mit den eigenen Waden anstellen. Abgesehen davon ist die Route eine nette Abkürzung vom Volmetal hoch nach Emst, oder weiter nach Hohenlimburg, wenn man sie kennt und auch meistert ;) Nach Verlassen der Siedung ist die Strecke bewaldet, oben gelangt man zu den Wiesen der Staplacker Hochfläche.
