Stanga via Pendezzo

Beautiful climb with a very demanding first section with gradients of 18％, a light second section and then a double-digit climb in the last two kilometres. Road surface a little bumpy but all in all acceptable. Traffic was almost nil (early Saturday morning) and there were wonderful views over the Imagna valley and Resegone. After the top you can descend to Fuipiano and then add other climbs in the surrounding area.

A really not busy climb, starting from the thermal baths of Sant'Omobono (right behind the block of buildings that you can hardly see) it starts off really hard 18％ indicated but probably peaks a little higher for a couple of hairpin bends then becomes pedalable again only to come back to a 14-15％ steep climb near the junction with the "classic" climb. From Rota Imagna to Brumano it is not very demanding. It climbs again after Brumano. You can close a loop by descending towards Fuipiano. For those on mountain bikes, once it levels out, a path begins to climb on the left that allows you to bypass towards Valsassina.
It alternates between excellent asphalt and sections to be resurfaced, but never bad.
