As you climb, you look out over a French landscape on the left. In the distance, you can see the ridge of Nord-Pas-de-Calais and the two mining ridges of Loos. Anyway, at some point you turn right and the steepest part comes. And then don't forget to look left again, as you will see Mount Kemmel, Mount Rode and Mount Scherpenberg shining nicely.
Terwijl je aan het klimmen bent, kijk je aan de linkerkant uit over een Frans landschap. In de verte zie je de heuvelrug van Nord-Pas-de-Calais en de twee mijnterrils van Loos. Maar goed, op een gegeven moment draai je naar rechts en komt het steilste stuk. En vergeet dan niet om weer links te kijken, want dan zie de Kemmelberg, de Rodeberg en de Scherpenberg mooi blinken.
