Short but pleasant break before the long climb from Nijmegen to Berg en Dal. Good tarmac and a clear cycle lane and with a nice swing the road goes up to the highest point. A little after that, turn left at the roundabout to head back towards Berg en Dal.... read more

If you already take the Berg en Dalseweg towards Berg en Dal, you will often pass this climb. Take a look to the right just after the traffic light at the Sint Maartens Clinic. If the light is green, chain on the big plate, stand on the pedals and sprint up! Lovely good tarmac for a short sprint to the top. At the roundabout to the left you pick up some more altitude meters and if you descend the Kwakkenbergweg you end up on the Berg en Dalseweg again and you can continue in the direction of Berg en Dal.
