Great ride, take it easy on the descent between Sankt Andreasberg and Silberhütte because of some pits in the road. From there on, the descent allows for stepping on the pedals to reach high but maintainable speed.
Traffic between Bad Leuterberg and Odertal can be tricky and doesn't add to the experience except some meters, so it's worth skipping.
Gentle ascent to Silberhütte "to warm up". Keep right towards St. Andreasberg, then can be very steep through the village. The climb is a must in the Harz!
