Delightful, steady climb through the forest with a nice hairpin turn that provides a real 'foreign feeling'. Not extremely tough, but incredibly fun to ride.

Most beautiful climb in the region? With nice hairpin bend in it. Gives little foreign feeling in the Netherlands. Recommended.....

Mooiste klim in de regio? Met mooie haarspeldbocht erin. Geeft beetje buitenland gevoel in Nederland. Aanrader.....

For me, as a very limited climber, a nice challenge.

Fine climb. Doable. No one else at all during my climb

Prima klimmetje. Goed te doen. Helemaal niemand anders tijdens mijn klim

Nice climb on the north side of Geulle. The climb starts at the point where you turn onto Broekhoven from the Juliana canal. Most cyclists coming from Geulle will probably then start the climb on Broekhoven. Most of the climb runs at 6-7% but it is not really difficult. Intermediate sections are less steep.

Nice shortish climb, it's not too difficult even for a mediocre climber like me. Good road surface, it starts after a small ramp/lead out with a tiny gallery. Combined with a hairpin later on, it does give you a different feel compared to most hills in the area, I understand why people see a bit of Alpine feel to it.
Nice to see, at times, some of the remaining "MVDP" and other signs on the tarmac.
It's only a pity that it lacks a proper viewpoint from the top, as houses block the view left and right. Shame after you finally got a bit higher up in Limburg!

It is a really beautiful climb through the forest, and it is definitely tough because it is constantly 6 to 7 % and lasts more than a kilometre. But it is one that runs well and one that you can really go for on a good day.

Delicious climb that gives the "mountain"feeling while the climb itself is a nice runner that is doable for (almost) everyone. The road (with crash barrier) and the environment reminded me more of the Eifel or the Ardennes than of Limburg. Almost no view because you are surrounded by a beautiful forest but that is also enjoy. The climb continues in the built-up area but it is lighter.

Nice and fresh in the forest. The whole climb is about 5% steep, not so bad. The good road surface, the forest and the wooden railing make it a nice experience.

A wonderfully runny, even climb through a forest with relatively little traffic. I use this one to test my conditioning progress.

Very nice climb and not too steep. The slingerberg is also good to combine with the snijdersberg and moorveldsberg. I was born and raised near here. When I was six years old, I already shouted, come on dad, let's go up the slingerberg together. For me, it really is a magical climb.

Climbing is good and can be done in combination with the Snijdersberg. For the average cyclist good to do.

May I nominate this one for the most beautiful Dutch hairpin bend? I thought it was a great climb, even though it wasn't super steep or long. Really enjoying it. I also got a huge foreigner's feeling from that big, wide curve with the wooden railing and the dark forest you ride through.

Nice climb from the valley in Geulle back up good alternative for the shorter but steeper Snijdersberg.

What a beautiful climb. You really forget that you're just in the Netherlands. It is not really hard...very important.

As the text indicates, it is a real runner. So the profile in the map is not quite right, since there is a constant percentage of about 5 to 6%. Furthermore, just a very pleasant climb. When the slope forest is not yet overgrown, you also have a nice view to grab. The traffic you do not have to worry about, plenty of space.

Delicious climb that starts 150 meters earlier than indicated here.
Ideal to give full throttle on the outer blade and try to keep this up for as long as possible.
After this descend the Snijdersberg to immediately start the Schieversberg (or the other way around). With the Kloosterberg nearby, these 4 climbs are ideal for interval training in a 30 minutes round trip.
