Het eerste deel van de klim is voor velen al bekend terrein: de Bergstraat loopt mooi steil tussen de huizen door naar boven Sweikhuizen in. De weg gaat verder als vlakke en goede gravelweg, na zo'n 200 meter kom je weer op asfalt.
