I think that this is the longest climb that you can experience in the region. When I was a kid living just a few kilometres away I always thought about it as a spectacular mountain. That was of course before I saw the real mountains for the first time :)
The climb starts near a supermarket and a busy intersection. Turn carefully, since the crossroad is sometimes very busy.
The road winds a bit in the beginning, later on changing into an almost straight climb. The surface of the first 1,5km is in poor to ok condition, but it is partly offset by the fact that the lane is unusually wide, giving many opportunities to avoid the potholes while being safe from traffic. Later on, the road gets narrower but at the same time, the surface improves a lot and the gradient decreases.
Reaching the top of the climb rewards you with many opportunities for further exploration of the area - if you plan any kind of a loop around Kazimierz Dolny you will end here at least once.
