Did the climb on holiday. Wonderful! Often superstate, but how I had underestimated this climb! From the coast about 58 kilometres. You will notice that. The percentages of this climb are somewhat distorted. The last 4 kilometres are really gruelling, especially after such a long ride. Percentages of 15 and 20% are no exception. At the top, you come to an observatory, where there is nothing to do. It is the highest driveable (asphalt) road of Crete. Last 4 km are worse than the rest.
Op vakantie de klim gedaan. Prachtig! Asfalt is vaak in superstaat, maar wat had ik deze klim onderschat! Vanaf de kust zo'n 58 kilometer. Dat ga je merken. De percentages van deze klim zijn enigszins vertekenend. De laatste 4 kilometer zijn echt slopend, vooral na zo'n lange tijd rijden. Percentages tegen de 15 en 20% geen uitzondering. Bovenop kom je bij een observatorium, waar niks te doen is. Het is de hoogst berijdbare (asfalt) weg van Kreta. Laatste 4 km zijn wel slechter t.o.v. de rest.
