One of the alternatives to the Alsberg, which I prefer in the area. I drove to the foot of the slope via the Bleukenweg. A very nice little road with fantastic views of the surroundings. To get further to the foot, the road actually starts to rise into the Alsbergweg. However, this part is not included in this slope.
You then turn left into "Optielt". Here it flattens back a bit so you can pick up speed. A little further on, the asphalt road turns into tricky concrete slabs with edges, which do not run smoothly.
After the first right-hand bend, you see the road steeper uphill, but definitely still doable.
After a left turn, you enter a residential area where the road turns back into asphalt. Here it flattens out again and you can catch your breath.
After a relatively easy section you have to turn right towards the chapel. This is the last part that can still get tricky. Especially the last few dozen metres after the chapel can hurt. You enter an open field after the summit, where it remains exactly false flat.

This climb is one of the 4 climbs in a radius of 1 km . The climb starts at the foot of Alsberg but in the opposite direction.
Also here a climb in 3 parts .
The first part is a narrow road that halfway goes up quite a bit.
Then you go straight ahead on a broader road where some cars are parked because suddenly you come out of the nature in a residential area but this is only for a short time because once at the top you have to turn right on the Donatusweg, a narrow road that climbs nicely to the top and where you arrive at one of the highest points of the Hageland.
