Wonderful climb, this is always in my rides in the Eifel. I sometimes call this climb a real Alpine climb, with hairpin turns and beautiful views. If you're well trained, it's a runner. If you are less trained, it can become a "wrecker" because the climb keeps going uphill for a while after the forest, up to the war cemetery.
Prachtige klim, deze zit steeds in mijn ritjes in de Eifel. Ik noem deze klim wel eens een echte Alpenklim, met haarspeldbochten en mooie uitzichten. Als je goed getraind bent, is het een loper. Wanneer je minder getraind bent kan het wel eens een "sloper" worden, want de klim blijft na het bos nog een tijdje bergop lopen, tot aan het oorlogskerkhof.
Fantastic climb (quite a nice runner) over a lovely winding narrow road with good tarmac. During the first part of the climb you can see the valley slowly disappearing below you on your right. When you leave the forest behind you, you think you're at the top soon. That is not the case: the climb keeps on going and sometimes there are beautiful views. The Soldatenfriedhof Vossenack, just after the top, is worth a visit.
Fantastische klim (best wel een aardige loper) over een heerlijk kronkelend smal weggetje met prima asfalt. Tijdens het eerste deel van de klim zie je aan de rechterkant langzaam het dal onder je verdwijnen. Als je het bos achter je laat denk je al snel boven te zijn. dat valt nog even tegen: de klim blijft nog goed doorlopen waarbij er soms fraaie uitzichten zijn. Het Soldatenfriedhof Vossenack, net na de top, is het waard om te bezoeken.
Very nice climb with beautiful views over a valley with flowing river, also nice and quiet in terms of car traffic.
Hele mooie klim met mooie uitzichten over een dalletje met stromend riviertje, ook lekker rustig qua autoverkeer.
Nice climb, especially when the weather is nice in summer. The beginning is more open, where a lot of wood has been cut. After that it winds nicely.
Mooie klim, vooral als het mooi zomer weer is. Het begin is wat meer open, waar veel hout gekapt is. Daarna slingert hij mooi door.
