Until La Pobleta de Bellvei it is a wide tarmac road, but after the turnoff to Montcortes (don't miss it, the turnoff) the road seems to get narrower and narrower. It is a very nice road fairly high above a small river. Very winding, but because of the good tarmac it runs very nicely and you hardly notice that you are going up 5-6%. Only there is no splash of shade, so it can get puffy hot in the afternoon.
