A beautiful climb starting in Dogna, on the route of the Alpe Adria cycle path. The first kilometres, which run alongside the Dogna torrent, are more treacherous than they appear from the altimetry, as they follow the orography of the valley and are therefore made up of numerous small tears interspersed with almost flat stretches.
From kilometre 9 to kilometre 13, the road becomes very easy, practically a long falsopiano: once this stage is over, the last 4 km begin, which are demanding but not impossible, thanks to the many hairpin bends that help to revive the pace. The landscape here is very beautiful, climbing between rocks in a wild mountain setting. When you reach the top, the asphalt road ends: by mountain bike, you can descend to Malga Saisera and then to Valbruna and Tarvisio; by road bike, you have to descend from where you climbed. Despite this, a very beautiful and recommended climb.
