The climb begins in Leonessa, a very picturesque village; the first part is easy and rideable. Then we enter the beech forest and the gradients are fairly challenging; the section through the forest is long and shady. The last stretch, without the beech forest, is quite demanding; we arrive just below the summit of Terminillo.
