To get to Campitello Matese, the climb on this side is less spectacular but much more pleasant, and the road out of Guardiaregia wasn't very busy when I was there.
So, peace and quiet and, above all, fresh air
Pour aller vers Campitello Matese, faire la montée de ce côté est moins spectaculaire mais beaucoup plus agréable, à la sortie de Guardiaregia la route n'était pas très fréquentée lors de mon passage.
Donc, tranquillité et surtout du bon air
Very nice climb towards the heart of the Matese, a lot through the forest with some nice views, especially the long stretch after the dam. Especially from Guardiaregia it is very quiet on the road. From the saddle point where this climb ends you can choose, in my opinion all directions are worth riding.
Heel mooie klim richting het hart van de Matese, veel door het bos met een paar mooie vergezichten, met name het lange stuk na de stuwdam. Zeker vanaf Guardiaregia is het erg rustig op de weg. Vanaf het zadelpunt waar deze klim eindigt kun je kiezen, m.i. zijn alle richtingen de moeite van het berijden waard.
