This is my local hill so I've cycled it a few times. It ends at Seeboden Alp, halfway up the Rigi. At the top of the climb, which is tarmac all the way are toilets and a water tap for refills, and also a restaurant.
There's a cable car too to get up but many people choose instead to drive so cars can slow you down on the way down and overtake quite close on the way up so I tend to ride it early in the morning but it's not too bad really.
There are nice views on the way up of the Vierwaldstättersee (lake Luzern).
Be careful of ice on the road in the forest section early in the season.
