From Turčianske Teplice, the mountain pass is slightly less demanding. There are smaller slopes and a pleasant climb through a forest environment, the asphalt is OK, traffic is quite heavy on weekdays, including trucks.

Beautiful climb in nice nature. The surface is good, but it is the main drag between Banská Bystrica and Martin, which means that especially on weekdays the traffic is quite dense with lots of trucks.
