A delightful climb. Not so much because of the percentages as they are easy to do, although they vary quite a bit over this stretch. But the scenery is beautiful, with lovely views over the Brunssummerheide at the end. In addition, the cycle path and subsequent car-free road meander quite a bit. Excellent alternative to get to Brunssum from Heerlen and definitely preferable to Heerenweg (busy and with traffic lights).
