I found the approach along Schoolbergenstraat itself pleasantly surprising: relatively little traffic and good tarmac (only downside were the sporadic traffic inhibitors and parked cars).

The slope itself is more than pleasant: a cosy narrow street where it is good to be because of the little traffic, nice planting along the road which, by the way, is nicely asphalted. The percentages are moderate, which means you can make the slope as hard as you want.

Together with the nearby Boskouter, a very pleasant surprise!

This climb is a hidden gem, not too difficult, good road surface, low traffic. Shady and fragrant in the rain. Ideal in terms of difficulty if you want to ride uphill for once 'not too hard' or learn to find pace.

Nice climb that is certainly not heavy and that you can sprint up on the big plateau.
Very good road surface and a nice environment. The road is quite narrow and pleasant through the wooded area. Once at the top you can go further down and you come out at the back of the Meesberg and Chartreuze.
