Steep climb, but for the most part fairly even. Once in a while you have a beautiful view on the Reschensee, but most of the time you ride between the trees, which is great for cooling down. The road surface is not too good, and just before the second hairpin it turns into a dirt road with sometimes large stones. It is possible to get to the top on a racing bike but it takes some effort to follow the right track, also because mountain bikers (can) descend in the opposite direction. The route her... read more

I don't find this climb suitable for a road bike.
Find extraordinary that there is no mention of gravel in graphics, as most of it is unpaved and sometimes even quite bad.

The route here largely runs over a ski slope. Just below the top, it becomes asphalt again, but you have to cross a kind of mountain bike camp to go past the fence. The descent is recommended on the other side, where the road surface is also not fantastic, but fine to get down.
