Nice climb through the forest. Good alternative instead of descending along the busy national road to Meerssen. If you keep left in the hamlet of Schietecoven, you descend back to the national road and are treated to great views of Raarderberg on the way.
Mooie klimmetje door het bos. Goed alternatief in plaats van de afdaling langs de drukke rijksweg naar Meerssen. Als je in het gehuchtje Schietecoven links aanhoudt daal je weer af naar de rijksweg en wordt je onderweg getrakteerd op een prachtig uitzicht op de Raarderberg.
Short climb. Not heavy, just sprint against it and you're up. The road runs in a green area but there is no further view. Good asphalt.
Kort klimmetje. Niet zwaar, even er tegenaan sprinten en je bent boven. De weg loopt in een groene omgeving maar er is verder geen uitzicht. Prima asfalt.
