Fantastische verborgen parel. Perfect om ds drukke doorgaande weg te ontwijken. Direct mooi landelijke en na een eerste stuk minder asfalt is het vanaf de driesprong waar je links aanhoudt prima te doen. Het wordt daar wel even flink steil, dus een mooie kuitenbijter!! Bovenop bij fietsknooppunt 29 volg je verder een goedlopend betonnen wegdek. Ook net voordat je het dorp inrijdt krijg je nog wat vergezichten voorgeschoteld. Een absolute aanrader!!
A much nicer way to climb up to Würselen compared to the main road. Dort sind auch die Prozentsätze am höchsten. Sie fallen anschließend kontinuierlich bis zur Wohnbebauung, wo es nochmal leicht ansteigt. Der Anstieg selber kann zudem durch seine Ruhe und Ausblicke auf das Wurmtal punkten.
One of the tougher climbs from the Wurm valley, and certainly one of the nicer ones too. The first bit from the bridge is the cycle path along the threshing road, but soon you turn right into a small car-free road. Here the tarmac is equally bad but a good track can be found. The percentage soon rises and at after keeping left (here the tarmac gets better again) you really have some work to do. The steep road winds nicely uphill. It flattens out a bit but the pedalling continues. After the T-junction it really flattens out. There are some nice views here as you ride over a ridge. In the built-up area, it gets a little steeper towards the end but that should not be called anything else.
Eén van de zwaardere klimmen vanuit het dal van de Wurm, en ook zeker één van de leukere. Het eerste stukje vanaf de brug is het fietspad langs de dorgaande weg, maar al snel ga je rechtsaf een klein autovrij weggetje in. Hier is het asfalt even slecht maar er is wel een goed spoor te vinden. Het percentage loopt al snel op en bij na het links aanhouden (hier wordt het asfalt weer beter) mag je echt even aan de bak. Het steile weggetje slingert leuk naar boven. het vlakt iets af maar het blijft lekker doortrappen. Na de T-splitsing wordt het echt vlakker. Hier wel leuke uitzichten omdat je over een heuvelrug rijdt. In de bebouwde kom wordt het tegen het eind nog iets steiler maar dat mag verder geen naam hebben.
