Climb starts in Gerolstein where you enter 'Am Daasberg'. There is a spicy steep section in there from 10 to 12% which is about 500 metres long. This is followed by a bit of descending/flat road until the junction before Gees. Definitely that stretch of excellent road surface and hardly any traffic.
