Het steile stuk op de kasseien is op zich wel een leuke uitdaging. De ruwe kasseien zorgen ervoor dat deze kuitenbijter een klim in de Vlaamse Ardennen nabootst, maar dan een beetje korter. Ook ben je omringt door bomenrijen waardoor je in alle rust wordt afgesloten van de eerder drukke baan die ernaast ligt. Het is alleen jammer dat de voorgaande kasseistrook om het steile stuk te bereiken er extreem slecht bij ligt: de ene na de andere puntige kassei steekt uit de grond. Enkel aan te raden voor echte kasseiliefhebbers dus. Als je je fiets niet te hard wilt belasten ga je dus best langs de asfaltbaan ernaast.
