Longer climb along the connecting road between Eygelshoven and Landgraaf, riding most of the way on a cycle path (mostly with well-laid cobblestones, the rest asphalt) and the last part on a cycle lane (good asphalt). On the right, mostly green surroundings, the last stretch you ride between houses. The bit after the viaduct is (see also the profile) the steepest but the differences are small. Nice to pick up some altimeters and if you look back at the viaduct you can really see the difference in height.
Langere klim langs de verbindingsweg tussen Eygelshoven en Landgraaf, waarbij je het grootste deel over een fietspad (grotendeels met goed gelegde klinkers, de rest asfalt) en het laatste stuk over een fietsstrook (goed asfalt) rijdt. Aan de rechterkant veelal een groene omgeving, het laatste stuk rijdt je tussen de huizen. Het stukje na het viaduct is (zie ook het profiel) het steilst maar de verschillen zijn klein. Leuk om wat hoogtemeters mee te pakken en als je bij het viaduct naar achteren kijkt zie je ook echt wel duidelijk het hoogteverschil.
