De Schallenbergpas is een vriendelijke klim met een goede kwaliteitsweg. Uitzichten over het Berner Oberland zijn erg mooi, echter is er redelijk veel verkeer. Met name in het hoofdseizoen zijn er veel motorrijders die deze klim rijden, wat de klim op de fiets minder interessant maakt.
